North Country Inn restaurant

Destination: Northern BC, Vanderhoof and beyond!

The North Country Inn is located in Vanderhoof, BC. Vanderhoof is Geographical Centre of BC and is 'the heart of it all'. We are located approximately 100 km west of Prince George, and 650 km east of Prince Rupert, accessible via Highway 16.

Vanderhoof has many attractions, especially for the avid outdoorsperson. Close to Vanderhoof are many lakes with world class freshwater fishing. Vanderhoof is a central location for hunters to come during the hunting season. Wildgame including moose, deer, bear and elk, as well as goose and duck abound in the forests and fields surrounding and south of the community.

Within the community, there is ample shopping opportunities from local arts and crafts to clothing, furniture and all the essentials you need during your travels. Directly behind the North Country Inn is a playground and spray park for children. There is a Community Trail network starting from Riverside Park, a short walk from the North Country Inn. At Riverside Park you will find a picnic area, playground, the Nechako Migratory Bird Sanctuary and a dog friendly walking path and large field.

To satisfy your hunger after a busy day, try our wonderful cuisine at the North Country Inn Restaurant. We feature European and Canadian cuisine and offer great family dining in a cozy log-house atmosphere.

Visit the Vanderhoof Visitor Centre for more information on attractions and traveling to and from Vanderhoof.
